I do enjoy teaching; particularly less experienced students in the use of oils, watercolours or pastels, whether in the UK or on painting holidays in Spain or Italy with Authentic Adventures (formerly Andalucian Adventures).
During the Winter, between November and April, I offer one to one and group tuition workshops (maximum 6) in oils, watercolours and pastels in my conservatory style studio. Click on the Workshops link and also the Events link at the top for more details of individual days and subjects.
Whether home or abroad with less experienced painters or outright beginners, (although I don't like to label people as 'beginners' with its negative connotations), I will always give you the very best attention.
Demonstrations to art groups and societies are also offered at negotiated rates, as are day long workshops. Both kinds of event include features such as slide shows on techniques, live and static demonstrations and examples of my own work for critique.
I also teach at the Marlborough College Summer School each July and August, and during the rest of the year at Farncombe Estate near Broadway, Worcestershire.
