Royal Institute of Oil Painters contributor - December 2012 - Mall Galleries, London.
The Hawker Gallery, The Maltings, off School Lane, Amersham, Bucks, HP7 0ET - several of Roger's paintings will be exhibited as part of the Christmas Exhibition - opening Saturday 24th November 2012 continuing until end March 2013 - normally open 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (Tuesdays to Saturdays). Will also be exhibiting new work in their spring exhibition. Details to follow.

I like to exhibit regularly and welcome approaches from galleries anywhere in the UK.
When possible, I like to be on hand at my local exhibitions to meet up with clients and pass on and hear of news from fellow painters. It's a chance to share a few tips, consider tuition, or even discuss joining me on a painting holiday in Spain, Italy, Lanzarote or other locations such as Gozo with Authentic Adventures (formerly Andalucian Adventures).
I contribute to exhibitions in Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire and London, where each year I contribute to the autumn exhibitions of the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) and Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) held at the Mall Galleries, The Mall, London, SW1 (near Admiralty Arch and Trafalgar Square). I have exhibited and sold regularly with both societies since 2000. At the ROI's 2011 exhibition from December 7th to 18th I was delighted to be the recipient of the Menena Joy Schwabe Memorial Award 2011. Contributor ROI Exhibition, December 2012.

On several occasions my work has been on display for sale at my home as part of Stroud Valley Arts Open Studios event, on two weekends during May/June, though I am unable to participate in 2012 due to other commitments. I also regularly contribute articles to The Artist magazine.

Commissions From Individuals
 You may like a particular painting and want an original version, perhaps with changes to suit your own preference. Maybe you would like me to visit a particular place and portray that; or perhaps a surprise gift to a special person would be something to consider. I'd be pleased to discuss your requirements, as original paintings give such lasting pleasure.
We agree as much as possible about the work, including a deadline at the outset, and I keep you informed of progress. A non-refundable deposit of 30% typically secures the work.

With regret I am unable to accept payment via credit card, but accept pounds sterling cheques, cash or international money orders. |
