I do enjoy teaching, particularly less experienced students in the use of oils, watercolours or pastels, whether in the UK or on painting holidays in Spain or Italy with Andalucian Adventures. Incidentally, I don't use the word 'beginner' with its negative connotations. I offer one to one tuition in those three media, and similarly to groups (maximum 6) in my conservatory style studio in the winter between November and the following April (see following paragraphs). Demonstrations to art groups and societies are also offered at negotiated rates. Similarly, for day long workshops. Both kinds of event include among other features, such as slide shows on techniques, live and static demonstrations and examples of my own work for critique. I also teach at the Marlborough College Summer School each July and August, and during the rest of the year at Farncombe Estate near Broadway, Worcestershire.
